Your Destiny Token
At check-in, every player who opts in draws one random token. It assigns you to the Jedi or the Sith. This is your destiny - no trades, no re-draws.
Life Force
- Every player starts with 3 life force, tracked on the side board.
- Finish last in your group in any qualifying round → lose 1 life force. Tied for last? Everyone tied loses 1.
- Hit 0 life force and you are claimed by the Force - eliminated from the side game (you are still fully alive in the real tournament).
- The eliminated cannot be revived, and death takes your unused power with it. No Force ghosts.
Force Powers
- Jedi - Force Heal: restore 1 life force to another player (never yourself, never above 3).
- Sith - Force Drain: remove 1 life force from another player.
- You get exactly one use for the entire tournament. Once it's spent, it's gone - choose wisely.
- Powers are played at the end of a round, before the next round starts. Announce your target to the tournament director.
- Any number of powers may be used in the same round-break. If everyone burns theirs after round 1, that's legal - they're just done for the day.
Targeting Limits
Each player can be healed once and drained once per tournament, by two different competitors. That is the most the Force can touch you.
Winning
- The side game ends after round 5, before the finals.
- The team with the best survival rate (survivors ÷ starting members) wins. Tiebreak: most total life force remaining.
- Every member of the winning team - surviving and fallen - takes home a mini Darth Vader. Yes, even the Jedi. Spoils of war.
